 |
North Carolina's sweet potato growers, packers and shippers,
who already
lead the nation in the production and marketing of "Nature's Health
Food,"
may soon see growth come from several new value-added sweet potato product
uses currently on the market or in development stages.
With funding from the Golden LEAF Foundation, the North
Carolina SweetPotato Commission Foundation has been working hard to
broaden the consumer base for sweet potatoes by creating and market
testing new value-added sweet potato
products.
